Veli Kavlak demands €1.7 million per season

Veli Kavlak has reportedly demanded wages of up to €1.7 million per season from Besiktas.

The Austrian international’s contract with the Black Eagles runs out at the end of the season.

According to the Turkish newspaper Sabah, Kavlak wants €1.4 million in his first two seasons and €1.5 million, €1.6 million and €1.7 million in subsequent seasons.

Fenerbahce have been in talks with Kavlak’s representatives are are prepared to offer the Austrian international €1.5 million per season.

The hard working midfielder has also been linked with Lazio and Everton in recent weeks.

Kavlak was born in Austria but is also a Turkish citizen through his parents.

The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has seven goals and 14 assists in 122 appearances for the Black Eagles.
