'Verbal agreement' reached between Barcelona and Dortmund for Manchester United target Gündoğan

Barcelona have stuck a ‘verbal agreement’ with the German outfit Borussia Dortmund for their in-demand midfielder Ilkay Gündoğan according to Barca Blaugranes.

The La Liga champions have agreed a €30 million deal which will see the 24-year-old join Barcelona when the clubs transfer ban ends on January 1st 2016.

The report goes onto state that Gündoğan has agreed personal terms with the Catalan giants and that he is no longer interested in a move to England.

Gündoğan has passed a medical with Barcelona according to Mundo Deportivo. The Catalan giants were reported to be wary of the 24-year-old’s current medical condition after a long spell on the sidelines due to a back injury. Barcelona wanted to determine the players fitness before launching a bid to secure his services.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been closely linked with the 24-year-old over the past week according to the Daily Mail. The Dortmund star is also reported to have attracted interest from Manchester City according to the Manchester Evening News.
