(Video) Arsenal target Calhanoglu scores another free-kick

Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Çalhanoğlu took time off recreating scenes from a Western film in his families home town of Bayburt to take care of Bulgaria in an international friendly.

Çalhanoğlu was in the middle of enjoying a break in Bayburt, riding horses and taking in the fresh country air before getting his call up to the Turkish national side.

The 21-year-old playmaker did not disappoint and opened the scoring with a trademark free-kick.

The set-piece specialist doubled the Crescent-Stars lead just two minutes later.

Turkey went on to win the game 4-0 with Çalhanoğlu putting in a man of the match performance. The Bayer star dictated play and was a constant threat from set-pieces and long range efforts.

There were scouts present at the game keeping tabs on some of Turkey’s star players and Çalhanoğlu’s performance will probably not have gone unnoticed.

Arsenal are keeping tabs on Çalhanoğlu according to talkSPORT and he recently revealed that Barcelona and Real Madrid have both expressed an interest in him.

“It is great that Barcelona and Real Madrid are interest of course it makes me proud to be linked with these clubs but that is for my agent to look into let us see what happens,” Çalhanoğlu told DHA.
