Acting seems to run in the family as Turan’s brother stars in a popular Turkish drama Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar.
The bearded winger starred in Turkey 2-1 win over Sweden at the Antalya Arena on Thursday to extend the Crescent-Stars unbeaten run to 12 games.
Turkey will take on Croatia, Czech Republic and Spain in the European Championship group stage in Paris this summer.
Turan is also on an impressive unbeaten run at Barcelona. The reigning La Liga champions have gone 38 games without a loss and have won 16 of their last 17 games in which Turan has featured – and one draw.
The 29-year-old is expected to feature in Turkey’s next game against Austria on 29 March 2016.
