Fenerbahçe beat Trabzonspor 2-0 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium to move into first place in the Turkish Super League overtaking Beşiktaş who lost 2-0 against Akhisar on Sunday.
Former Manchester United winger Luis Nani put on a terrific performance and opened the scoring on 11 minutes.
The Portuguese international also setup second half substitute Fernandao on 88 minutes for the second goal. Fernandao now has 12 goals in all competitions for the Istanbul giants.
Nani now has seven goals and six assists in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this season.
