Video: Liverpool fans celebrate Emre Can goal

Liverpool demolished Aston Villa 6-0 at Villa Park yesterday and even Emre Can got in on the act scoring his first Premier League goal of the season.

Can started in midfield and played an influential role passing at an 89 percent accuracy and taking 87 touches over the course of the game.

The main talking point as far as Can was concerned however, was not his passing or his tackling it was in-fact his contribution in the final third.

The 22-year-old scored his first league goal of the season with a powerful driving effort from outside the area which rocketed into the bottom corner.

Liverpool fans made it clear just how pleased they were with the goal when Can ran over to the away section.

The Germany international of Turkish origin was mobbed by the Reds supporters who jumped over the advertising boards to hug the goalscorer.

The young midfielder is expected to feature in the Reds Europa League Round of 32 clash against later next.
