Samed Yesil was included in FC Luzern’s starting line-up which took on the German side SC Freiburg in an friendly ahead of the restart of the Swiss Super League.
The 21-year-old joined the Swiss side Luzern on a season long loan at the start of the season.
Babbel’s side are currently in 4th place in the Swiss Super League with 26 points in 18 games.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man will be looking to make more of an impact in the second half of Luzern’s season. The young striker provided two assists and scored one goal in eight league appearances this season.
Yeşil joined Liverpool from the German side Bayern Leverkusen back in 2012 for £1 million. The 21-year-old has made two assists and found the back of the net just once in eight appearances for Luzurn this season.
