Mesut Ozil pulled off one of the flicks of the season during Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Hull City.
The German international audaciously flicked an Aaron Ramsey pass into the path of Alexis Sanchez.
The move set social media alight leading even Özil’s harshest critics to sit back and admire.
Özil was one of the Gunners top performers on the night statistically according to Whoscored who gave the World Cup winner a 7.41 rating.
The 26-year-old was praised by Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger after the game.
“Mesut Özil is developing fantastically well and had a fantastic game. Overall his influence was very strong,” Wenger said.
Özil has received several awards for his performances since the turn of the year.
The World Cup winner has won two Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month awards and was also chosen as the PFA Fans Player of the Month for April.
Özil has four goals and seven assists since returning from injury in 2015.
