(Video) Molde 0 – 2 Fenerbahçe: Yellow Canaries take a giant leap towards booking Round of 32 place

Jeremain Lens

Fenerbahçe got revenge on Molde beating them 2-0 at a waterlogged Aker stadium in the Europa League Group A.

Yellow Canaries boss Vitor Pereira gave Fernandao the nod ahead of Robin van Persie going into the game and the Brazilian justified the decision of the head coach with the opening goal on 68 minutes.

Turkish international youngster Ozan Tufan secured the victory with his sides second goal on 84 minutes.

Ajax beat Celtic in the other group game to remain in third place but increased their point tally to six. Under the current permutations Fenerbahçe could book a place in the Round of 32 with a draw but a win against Celtic would guarantee qualification.
