(Video) Nani scores free-kick goal in first game since leaving Man Utd

Fenerbahçe winger Luis Nani scored a sublime free-kick in his first game since joining from Manchester United on a three-year deal.

The friendly against Iranian side Zob Ahan ended in a convincing 7-0 victory but Nani stole the limelight with his fabulous strike.

Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım and several board members were also attending the game.

Nani arrived in Turkey last Sunday and completed his £4.3 million move the following day in an official signing ceremony held at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.

The Portuguese international will be joined by former United teammate Robin van Persie who arrived in Istanbul yesterday before completing his transfer to Fenerbahçe.

Nani has also partnered up with two Portuguese international teammates at Fenerbahçe – Raul Meireles and Bruno Alves.

In total there are eight Portuguese speaking players in the current Yellow Canaries squad – Meireles, Alves, Ba, Fabiano, Josef de Souza, Fernandao, Diego. The manager of the team Vitor Pereira is also Portuguese.
