Walcott will miss Arsenal trip to Turkey [divider]
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott will miss the Champions League Group D Match Day 6 game against Galatasaray due to injury according to Arsene Wenger.
“He has an injection today so he will not play. Galatasaray is also too early,” Wenger said.
“Nacho Monreal is out for tomorrow’s game. Hopefully Kieran Gibbs will be back. Wojciech Szczesny should be in full training today. Mathieu Debuchy is back in training but it’s too early for him.”
“Diaby is on the brink of returning to training. If he’s fully fit he’ll have a new deal.”
Arsenal are currently second in Group D on 10 points but will clinch first place if they beat Galatasaray and if Borussia Dortmund lose against Anderlecht.
Galatasaray are currently bottom of the group with just one point from five games.
Hamza Hamzaoğlu will take charge of his first Champions League game against Arsenal when the two sides meet next week.
