Besiktas returned to winning ways after a goalless draw on the weekend with a 9-0 victory over Manisa in the Turkish Cup at the Vodafone Arena.

The star of the show was Jeremain Lens who scored his first hat-trick since leaving Sunderland this summer.

It was also the first time has has provided a hat-trick of assists in a single game.

Lens setup Alvaro Negredo with the opener and went onto score just minutes later.

The Netherlands international brace was the fourth for the Black Eagles.

Lens’ third and final goal was a little cheeky.

Tolgay Arsenal did most of the hard work chipping the ball over the keeper which was heading into the back of the net after taking a deflection.

Lens decided to rob Tolgay of his goal but considering it was his first assist since 2010 we can give him the benefit of the doubt.
