Mesut Ozil has got himself back in Arsenal fans good books after an impressive few weeks.
Ozil has been directly involved in four goals – two goals, two assists – in his last four league games.
The Germany international of Turkish origin scored the winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside stadium last night in the Premier League.
The travelling Arsenal fans stayed behind after the game to offer their support to Ozil.
The supporters sung the Ozil chant, “We‘ve got Ozil, Mesut Ozil, I just don’t think you understand, He’s Arsene Wenger’s man. He’s better than Zidane, We‘ve got Ozil.”
Ozil gave his reaction to the show of support by sharing a clip of the chant from after the game on his Instagram account.
The 28-year-old revealed that the fans game him ‘goosebumps’ in his caption.
