Watford v Liverpool confirmed lineups – Coutinho dropped from squad after transfer request
Watford FC host Liverpool at Vicarage Road in their first game of the 2017-18 Premier League season.
Liverpool have been fairly quite during the transfer window. Klopp has brought in Mo Salah from Roma, Andrew Robertson and Dominic Solanke.
Meanwhile, Watford have been rather busy. Marco Silva has added Richarlison, Andre Gray, Tom Cleverley, Nathaniel Chalobah, Kiko Femenia, Will Hughes and Daniel Bachmann to his squad this summer.
Liverpool will be without their star playmaker Philippe Coutinho for today’s game.
The Brazilian midfielder handed in a transfer request yesterday as he looks to force a move to Barcelona.

Germany international Emre Can has been included in Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup. The 23-year-old’s Liverpool future is also cast in doubt. Can is yet to agree a new deal with just 12 months remaining on his Liverpool contract.
