‘We are in direct talks with Arsenal’ – Stuttgart wonder kid reveals Gunners have been scouting him for two years
Stuttgart wonder kid Berkay Ozcan has revealed that he is in talks with Arsenal after being scouted by the North London outfit for the last two years.
Ozcan revealed that the Gunners have been keeping close tabs on him and that the club regularly send scouts to monitor him.
The 19-year-old’s agent is currently in direct negotiations with Arsenal.
Ozcan revealed that he wants to join Arsenal in the future but that he wants to prove himself as Stuttgart first.

“My agent and I are in talks with Arsenal,” Ozcan was quoted as saying by beIN Turkey.
“Arsenal have been scouting me for the past two years and send representatives to watch my games.
“My agent is in direct talks for them.
“I am not sure if now is the right time to join Arsenal, it may be a bit early for me.
“I want to prove myself here and keep developing first.
“Ultimately, Arsenal is the club I want to join in the future, god willing I will achieve my goal.”
Ozcan was born in Germany but is of Turkish origin like Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
Unlike Ozil, Ozcan does not represent Germany at international level.
The attacking midfielder plays for Turkey but can still opt for Germany at senior level.
Ozcan has made three appearances in all competitions for Stuttgart this season.
The youngster scored three times and provided six assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit last season.
