“We are lucky to have him” – Liverpool fans react to Emre Can’s sensational performance against Hoffenheim
Emre Can was the star of the show last night during Liverpool’s comfortable victory over Hoffenheim.
The Reds were 4-1 victors at Anfield and have booked their place in the UEFA Champions League group stage.
The groups will be drawn tomorrow and Liverpool have been placed in Pot 3.
Can put his side ahead after just 10 minutes via a deflected shot. The 23-year-old scored again in the 21st minutes when he capped off a beautiful team goal by Liverpool.
Can was withdrawn after 70 minutes to a standing ovation.

Following his latest display Liverpool fans will be hoping Can will put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Merseyside based club. The Germany international has under 12-months remaining on his current deal.
