Week 20 – Turkish Super Lig Betting Tips and Previews
Besiktas protected their two point lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig following a win over Konyaspor last weekend. Meanwhile Fenerbahce undone their good work against Basaksehir with a shocking 4-1 defeat at the hands of Kayserispor.
The Turkish football league is generally an unpredictable league when it comes to betting so, we have prepared short previews and predictions of each game below.
Karabükspor v Besiktas
Besiktas are flying high in the Turkish Super Lig and the Black Eagles have coped well with the absence of their first-choice striker Aboubakar – who is on international duty with Cameroon.
Manager Senol Gunes has turned Cenk Tosun into a goal scoring machine and I can’t see the Istanbul Giants dropping points this weekend. Besiktas Win. LOSS
Alanyaspor v Genclerbirliği
Both Alanyaspor and Genclerbirliği are in horrible form going into the game and neither side are showing any signs of turning their fortunes around. The Ankara based side tend to travel poorly however, it would be wise to avoid this game.
Osmanlıspor v Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor look like a completely new side following the winter break. Manager Ersun Yanal has imposed his philosophy on the Black Sea Storm who have recorded three victories in a row.
Meanwhile Osmanlıspor have been in a slump since the break and have lost two of their last three games.
Trabzonspor are the team in form and I expect them to come away from Ankara with at least a point. Trabzonspor Double Chance. WIN
Bursaspor v Fenerbahçe
The fixture of the week has Bursaspor hosting their rivals Fenerbahce at the Bursa Büyükşehir stadium. The home side have been in free-fall recently having parted company with Hamza Hamzaoglu and suffering four defeats in a row.
Fenerbahce will be desperate to bounce back following last weekends humiliation while Bursaspor will be looking to kick-start their season with a win over the Istanbul Giants.

Akhisar v Çaykur Rizespor
Rizespor have recorded two victories in their last three games away from home. That said, both sides are in poor form and are also playing poorly, one to avoid.
Kasımpaşa v Basaksehir
Basaksehir responded well to their first defeat of the season – against Fenerbahce – with a solid 1-0 win over Bursaspor.
Abdullah Avci’s side have proven their credentials over-and-over this season and have to be taken seriously as title challengers.
Meanwhile, Kasimpasa have lost their last two games and are performing far below their potential this term. Tipping Basaksehir to record a victory away from home. Basaksehir Win. LOSS
Konyaspor v Antalyaspor
Antalyaspor are currently the team with the best form in the league having recorded eight wins in their last ten games. The Scorpions were languishing dangerously close to the relegation zone until their recent run and now find themselves in fifth spot.
Meanwhile Konyaspor have slipped down to seventh place following a drop in both form and performances recently.
Antalyaspor are flying at the moment and should be able to pick up a point away to Konya. Antalyaspor +0.5 Asian Handicap WIN
Galatasaray v Kayserispor
Galatasaray will be wary of Kayserispor after the Anatolian Stars stunned everybody with a 4-1 win over Fenerbahce last weekend.
That said, Kayseri have picked up just six point away from home this season while Galatasaray have won just seven of their last nine games at home. Tipping a comfortable Galatasaray win. LOSS
Gaziantepspor v Adanaspor
Gaziantepspor have lost nine of their last ten games and sit rock-bottom of the Turkish League table. Meanwhile, Adanaspor – who are also in the drop zone – are unbeaten in their last ten games. A risky game to place a wager on but i’m going for Adanaspor not to lose.
