Beşiktaş board member Ahmet Ürkmezgil has confirmed that the club have received a €14 million bid from Shanghai Shenhua for Demba Ba.

“Nothing has been agreed yet the Chinese side wants him for and have made us an offer of €14 million but nothing has been finalised as of yet,” Ürkmezgil told Radyospor.

Ba still has two-years left on his contract with Beşiktaş and scored a career high 27 goals in his first season at the club after joining from Chelsea for €6 million last summer.

West Ham are also understood to be preparing a move for the experienced striker according to the Times.

Ba has previously played for West Ham, Chelsea and Newcastle in the Premier League.
