West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has confirmed that he wants Gokhan Tore at the club next season.

“Yes I want Gokhan Tore, will it happen? nobody can say yet  but we want him,” Bilic said speaking live on Turkish Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv after the Croatia v Turkey game.

The Hammers have been locked in talks with the Black Eagles over the transfer of Tore for the past month.

West Ham reached an agreement with Tore last month a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com but had yet to agree a transfer fee with the Black Eagles.

CNN Turk claim that the Black Eagles wanted £17 million but have agreed to a £13 million fee however, negotiations are ongoing as both sides try to reach a mutually agreeable deal.

Bilic also revealed that he was unsuccessful in trying to sign Tore last season. Besiktas are however, open to the prospect of selling the explosive winger last season after preparing for his departure last in January signing Aras Ozbiliz from Spartak Moscow.

Tore missed out on the Euro 2016 squad call-up for Turkey due to being suspended for the first two group games.
