West Ham expect decision on Nigerian international striker by tomorrow

Slaven Bilic has revealed that he expects a decision on whether Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike will join West Ham on loan.

“Now we are waiting to see if it is going to be today, tomorrow or not,” Bilic was quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

Bilic has confirmed that talks are ongoing with Al Ain who Emenike is on-loan with and his parent club Fenerbahce.

West Ham are currently facing an injury crisis upfront with Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho sidelined.

The Express reported that a deal has been struck between the Hammers and Fenerbahce to sign the Nigerian international striker.

Fenerbahce are yet to comment and head coach Vitor Pereira refused to answer questions about Emenike following his sides goalless draw against Antalyaspor in the Turkish Cup yesterday.

Emenike joined Fenerbahce from Spartak Moscow but struggled last season scoring just five times in the league under the command of former Fenerbahce manager Ismail Kartal.

The Nigerian international has however, scored seven times in 11 games since joining Al Ain on loan over the summer transfer period.
