West Ham boss strikes pundit deal for Turkey Euro 2016 game

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has reached a deal with Turkish Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv to appear as a pundit for the Turkey v Croatia Euro 2016 clash.

Lig Tv revealed that Bilic will provide in-depth coverage and analysis of game.

Bilic remains a popular celebrity in Turkey following his two-year stint in charge of Besiktas.

The Hammers boss was also in charge of the Croatia side that lost on penalties to Turkey – who were managed by current boss Fatih Terim – in the Euro 2008 quarter-finals.

Turkey will take on Croatia in the first of their Euro 2016 group games on Sunday 12 June in Paris.

The Crescent-Stars may have beat Croatia in Euro 2008 but suffered a 3-0 defeat sending them crashing out of the Euro 2012 play-offs.
