West Ham transfer news: Hammers set to win race for Pablo Zabaleta

West Ham United are close to completing the transfer for Pablo Zabaleta from Manchester City.

The experienced right-back will leave City this summer when his contract expires. Zabaleta has spent nine years at City since joining from Espanyol back in 2008. The 32-year-old has made over 300 appearances for the Citizens.

According to SkySports, West Ham United are in advanced talks with Zabaleta. Per the source, the Hammers are close to finalising the signing.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are also interested in the Argentina international. The Turkish outlet Sabah recently revealed that the Lions are interested in Zabaleta.

Zabaleta has won two Premier League’s, two football leagues, a FA Cup and a Community Shield since joining City from Espanyol.

Galatasaray currently find themselves in four place in the Turkish Super League. The Istanbul giants are planning major revisions to their side this summer.
