West Ham United keep up their pursuit of international star

West Ham United have not given up hope of signing Gokhan Tore this summer despite having a bid rejected by the Istanbul giants late last month.

According to SkySports, the Hammers had a season long loan bid – which included an option to buy – rejected. The report goes onto state that Besiktas are unwilling to let Tore go on loan.

West Ham are understood to be readying a new transfer bid for the 24-year-old. Besiktas want at least £13 million for the explosive winger who still has another two-years remaining on his contract.

The pacy winger does have Premier League experience having risen through the Chelsea ranks before his move to HSV and then Rubin Kazan before joining Besiktas.

Tore established himself as one of the most highly sought after players in the league under the stewardship of Slaven Bilic who coached Besiktas for two seasons before taking over at West Ham.
