‘Yet you all mocked City over Gundogan’ – Man City fans blast Man United over shirt incident on social media
Manchester United beat Burnley 2-0 in the Premier League to keep their chances of a top four Premier League finish alive.
United made the headlines for all the right reasons on Sunday as far as their performance was concerned.
There was however, a pre-match incident which did not go unnoticed – especially by Manchester City fans.
City players all wore shirts with the name Gundogan on following his knee injury earlier this season.
The Citizens were mocked for their show of support for the Germany international of Turkish origin.

Ironically United pulled off a similar shirt stunt for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rojo ahead of their 2-0 victory over Burnley on Sunday.

City fans were quick to remind the rest of Twitter that United fans mocked them for a similar gesture following injury to Ilkay Gundogan.
The Germany international or Turkish origin is expected to be sidelined until the end of the season.
