Yiğit Gökoğlan has agreed personal terms with Akhisar and is expected to sign for the Akigolar in the coming days.

Gökoğlan spoke to the local media about his proposed move to Akhisar.

“Tomorrow I will become a free agent. My spell at Galatasaray has come to an end,” Gökoğlan stated.

“I have received allot of offers from the Super League. Akhisar have shown the most interest in me.”

Gökoğlan joined Galatasaray from Manisaspor for €2.5 million on a 4.5 year deal in 2012 but he failed to live up to expectations.

The 25-year-old has spent the last six months training with the reserves and had 1.5 years left on his contract.

Gökoğlan only made nine appearances for Galatasaray since joining.
