La Liga side Villareal have joined the race to sign Celtic star centre-back Dedryck Boyata.
Galatasaray has been closely linked with a move for the Belgium international over the past week. However, the Istanbul giants have been unable to strike a deal with the Scottish giants.
According to the Spanish outlet Marca, Villareal are interested in signing Boyata. The La Liga side has until 11 pm tonight to get the deal over the line.
Marca has also previously linked Boyata with a £10 million move to Sevilla.
Boyata has under 12 months remaining on his contract with Celtic. The Hoops risk losing the 27-year-old for free next year unless they sell him this summer.
Galatasaray are desperate to sign a defender before the transfer window slams shit on September 1.
The Lions have failed to replace Jason Denayer who returned to Man City after his loan deal expired.
Galatasaray are back in action this weekend when they take on Trabzonspor.
