Middlesborough star striker Britt Assombalonga has been linked with a shock move to Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
The 25-year-old joined Boro for £15 million from Nottingham Forest last summer but has already attracted attention from abroad following an impressive season.
Assombalonga provided two assists and netted 15 goals in 47 appearances for Middlesborough in all competitions.
Fenerbahce will compete in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing the Turkish Super Lig as runners-up.

The Yellow Canaries appointed Damien Comolli as their new Sporting Director and are planning to strengthen their squad over the summer.
According to the Turkish outlet A Spor, Comolli has set his sights on Comolli. Per the source, the Istanbul giants will table a loan bid for the Democratic Republic of the Congo international.
The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce are also interested in signing Manchester City’s Bersant Celina, who spent last season on loan at Ipswich.
