£15m West Ham star involved in three-way transfer battle, Pellegrini to make final decision

West Ham United have a decision to make regarding their star midfielder Pedro Obiang who has been involved in a three-way transfer tussle.

According to a report in the Sun, West Ham’s newly appointed manager Manuel Pellegrini will weigh up offers made for the Spain U21 star.

Per the source, Besiktas, Fiorentina and Villarreal are locked in a race to sign Obiang this summer. The Serie A side have already tabled a bid for the £15 million-rated midfielder.

Besiktas are expected to make major changes to their squad this summer following a turbulent 12 months. The Black Eagles will miss out on UEFA Champions League Football next season after finishing the season in fourth spot.

The Sun goes onto state that West Ham will make a decision on whether to sell the 26-year-old in order to fund changes to Pellegrini’s squad.

West Ham finished the season in 13th spot with 42 points after 38 games. Pedro Obiang scored two goals in 27 games for the Hammers this term.
