Besiktas have moved to the top of the Turkish Super League following a 2-1 victory over Rizespor.
The first 45 minutes were relatively un-eventful in comparison to the second half. The home side took the lead in the 60th minute when Sosa slotted the ball into the back of the net from a tight angle.
Rizespor’s Kıvanç Karakaş received a straight red card following the goal Sercan Kaya levelled the score when Besiktas goalkeeper mis-timed a cross and leaving the 26-year-old to slot home.
Three minutes after the goal Koray Altınay saw red for a dangerous challenge. Despite playing against nine men, Besiktas found chances hard to come by and broke the dead lock in the 88th via a goal from Demba Ba.
