£17m star striker wants clarification on Tottenham future, keen on move to Euro giants

Tottenham star striker Vincent Janssen wants clarification regarding his future at the north London based club.

The Netherlands international spent the 2017/18 season out on loan with Fenerbahce. Janssen established himself as a fan favourite despite only making 16 Turkish Super Lig appearances.

Janssen struggled with injuries during his time in Istanbul and managed to score just five goals in all competitions.

The former AZ Alkmaar striker spent a total of 132 days sidelined with injuries last season.

Janssen’s future at Tottenham is in doubt after falling out of favour with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. Futhruemore, Tottenham signed Fernando Llorente last summer which puts Janssen back as the club’s third-choice striker.

“We are yet to receive any formal offers,” Jansen’s agent Louis Laros was quoted as saying by FutbolArena.

“Janssen wants clarification regarding his future. Despite suffering an injury last season, he was very happy at Fenerbahce.

“Fenerbahce would be a great club for Janssen.”
