Besiktas have not however, released a statement confirming the deal.
Clubs listed on the Turkish stock exchange are obliged to share such information and for it not to be released as of yet has raised eyebrows.
Ozyakup will have 12 months left on his contract at the end of the season – under the official information currently available.
The former Arsenal youth product has been closely linked with a return to the Premier League.
Fanatik also recently reported that Besiktas will accept an offer matching their €20 [£17] million valuation this summer.
The report states that Ozyakup is on the Man United transfer list and Roma as well as Atletico Madrid are also plotting moves.
The Red Devils could face competition from Ozyakup’s former club Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham according to the Daily Star.
