£17m Tottenham star keen on transfer to Turkish giants but Spurs insist on unfavourable clause

Tottenham star striker Vincent Janssen is keen on a move to the Istanbul based giants Fenerbahce according to the latest reports from Turkey.

The Netherlands international spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce, and despite missing much of the season with injuries, did establish himself as a fan favourite.

However, the Yellow Canaries have been unable to agree a deal with Tottenham to re-sign Janssen on loan.

According to the daily Turkish sports paper Fanatik, Janssen is pushing for a move back to Turkey this summer.

Unfortunately for Fenerbahce, Tottenham are insisting that a clause be inserted to the deal forcing the Istanbul giants to make the transfer permanent next year.

Janssen made the move to Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar for £17 million back in 2016.

However, the Netherlands international managed to score just two Premier League goals in his opening season.

Janssen provided four assists and scored four goals in 16 Super Lig games last term.
