Tottenham star striker Vincent Janssen could be on his way back to the Turkish Super Lig this summer.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Takvim, Fenerbahce are looking to re-sign the Dutchman on loan.
The Netherlands international spent the last 12 months with Fenerbahce on loan and established himself as a fan favourite.
However, the newly elected president Ali Koc is unlikely to match the €5 million fee paid to loan Janssen last season.
Takvim go onto state that Janssen could even partially fund the loan deal himself. Per the source, the striker is also prepared to sacrifice a large portion of his wages to ensure the deal goes through.
The 24-year-old is unlikely to feature at Tottenham this season after falling out of favour with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Janssen scored just two Premier League goals for Spurs following his £17 million move from AZ Alkmaar.
The Netherlands international only scored four goals in the Turkish Super Lig this term but spent the majority of the season out with a toe injury.
Both Tottenham and Fenerbahce will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season.
