Euro Giants boss urges club to sign Man City Belgium international defender this summer

Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has urged his club to complete the signing of Jason Denayer before the summer transfer window even opens.

The Belgium international has established himself as a firm fan favourite at Galatasaray during this two loan-spells at the Istanbul giants.

Denayer joined Galatasaray on loan over the summer after failing to break into Pep Guardiola’s Man City squad.

The 22-year-old has been further aided by the appointment of Fatih Terim as manager. Denayer played a starring role during Galatasaray’s 1-0 win over title rivals Istanbul Basaksehir last weekend.

According to the Turkish outlet Aksam, Terim has been impressed by the defender’s performances and would like the club to sign him on a permanent deal.

Per the source, the Istanbul based club are readying a bid in the region of €3 million for the versatile defender.

Denayer is expected to be part of Roberto Martinez’s World Cup squad this summer.
