Galatasaray set to table bid for Celtic centre-back Dedryck Boyata after loaning their first-choice defender Maicon out to Al Hilal.
A report close to Galatasaray has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that the club are lining up a bid to sign Boyatta on a permanent deal.
Maicon has joined the Saudi Arabian side on a season-long loan for £2.5 million,
The Lions now have money to spend after selling Bafetemi Gomis and loaning Maicon out.
Per the source, Gala boss Fatih Terim has made the signing of a centre-back a top priority and Boyata tops the experienced tacticians transfer shortlist.
Galatasaray currently have just one senior centre-back in their squad.
Meanwhile, Spanish outlet Marca have linked Sevilla with a £10m move for Boyatta.

The 27-year-old could end up leaving the club for free next summer after entering the 12 months of his contract.
