Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata is set to be sold over the summer transfer window according to the Daily Mail.
Per the source, Mata was told he could stay on if he accepts a limited role in the squad but that he would also be allowed to leave if an offer is made.
The Express report that United value Mata as being worth £20 and fellow Premier League outfit Everton are also reported to be interested.
Mata’s future is in doubt and he does not exactly have the best of relations with head coach Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager openly stated that Mata did not fit into his style of play and sold him to United for £37 million back in 2014.
The 28-year-old has no shortage of suitors with Fenerbahce reported to be interested in signing Mata.
The Yellow Canaries recently parted ways with Diego Ribas, Lazar Markovic and Luis Nani. Fenerbahce are keen on finding a replacement attacking midfielder as a result of the recent departures.
