£23m Everton flop targeted by Euro giants after making just seven Premier League appearances

Besiktas have begun their search to replace the outbound Anderson Talisca.

The Brazilian forward has played an integral role in Besiktas’ success over the past two seasons but is expected to return to his parent club Benfica this summer when his loan deal expires.

Talisca has been linked with a move to both Liverpool and Manchester United in recent weeks

Daily Turkish newspaper Takvim have claimed that the Black Eagles are interested in signing Everton’s out-of-favour midfielder Davy Klaassen.

Klaassen joined Everton from Ajax for an eye-watering £23.6 million last summer. The big-money transfer went on to make just seven Premier League appearances for the Toffees.

Following a disappointing season with Everton, Klaassen has been closely linked with a move away from the Premier League.

Takvim goes onto state that Besiktas will table a loan offer with the option to sign Klaassen included.

Klaassen previously captained Ajax and has four years remaining on his contract with Everton.
