£26m Everton striker Cenk Tosun endorsed by Man City playmaker

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has revealed that he lives in the same building as Everton striker Cenk Tosun.

During an interview with the daily Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, the star playmaker went onto state that he is a huge fan of Tosun.

“I really enjoyed watching Cenk Tosun play in the Turkish Super Lig,” Gundogan revealed.

“Actually we both live in the same building now.”

Tosun made the move to Everton from Besiktas for £26 million in January but has failed to hit the ground running in the Premier League,

The Turkey international has failed to find the back of the net since his move and has been dropped from the starting eleven to the bench by manager Sam Allardyce.

Tosun netted 14 goals in in 24 games for Besiktas prior to his move. Everton are back in action this weekend when they take on Burnley FC.

Man City meanwhile host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
