£27m Man United midfielder agrees to leave Old Trafford this summer

Manchester United star midfielder Marouane Fellaini has reportedly agreed to leave the Red Devils at the end of the season.

Depending on which report from Turkey you read, the Belgium international has struck a deal with both Besiktas and Galatasaray.

The Daily newspaper Aksam has reported that Galatasaray have agreed a five-year contract with Fellaini. However, Turkish sports outlet Fotomac have reported on an agreement between Besiktas and the combative midfielder.

The Turkish press have continually linked Fellaini with a move to Istanbul since the summer transfer window.

Fellaini – who joined Man United from Everton for £27 million back in 2013 (BBC) – will be out of contract at the end of the season.

The 30-year-old has been ruled out for up to two months with a knee injury he picked up last week.

Fellaini has just made twelve appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side this season and has managed to score three goals from midfield.

Man United are back in action this week when they take on Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League.
