£27m Man United star considers his future following Matic completing £40m transfer from Chelsea
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho may claim Marouane Fellaini is ‘too important’ to leave but actions speak louder than words.
Mourinho revealed that he does not want Fellaini to leave this summer following Galatasaray’s attempts to sign the midfielder.
“It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune,” Mourinho was quoted as saying by Goal.
“Forget it. He’s too important to me.”
United have not however, offered Fellaini a new contract deal.
The Belgium international will be leaving as a free agent unless he is offered an extension.
The Red Devils have shown no signs that Fellaini’s contract will be renewed.
Fellaini has also fallen down the pecking order following Nemanja Matic joining United on a £40 million [BBC] move from Chelsea.

The 29-year-old is considering his future according to the Daily Mail and could move abroad in January.
A source close to Galatasaray revealed to Turkish-Football that an agreement-in-principle has been reached with Fellaini.
The Lions offered the powerful midfielder a four-year deal on €4 million per-season with a €4 million sign on fee.
The attractive offer was enough to win over Fellaini’s representatives.
Galatasaray do however, have to win over United before the transfer can go ahead and Mourinho does not seem prepared to play ball.
The Istanbul giants are set to meet with United officials to submit their offer and remain confident that a deal can be reached.
The Lions would be unlikely to offer the same terms in January.
