£27m Man United’s Marouane Fellain unsure of his future at Old Trafford, Turkish giants prepare offer

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has revealed that he is unsure about his future at Old Trafford.

The Belgium international played key role in Manchester United’s road to the Europa League final and scored in the semi final against Celta.

Fellaini also played the full 90 minutes during Man United’s 2-0 victory over Ajax in the final on Wednesday.

Following the game Fellaini spoke with the Turkish outlet Sport360. The combative midfielder confirmed that he is happy at Man United but is unsure whether he will be at the team next season.

“I’m happy here [at Man United] and still have a contract. However, we will see what happens and what the future holds,” Fellaini told Sport360.

Trabzonspor have been closely linked with a move for the Belgium international midfielder in recent weeks.

The Black Sea Storm are looking to revamp their squad this summer. Trabzonspor will be celebrating their 50th anniversary next season and want to mark it with several marquee signings.

The Turkish outlet Fotomac state that Trabzonspor are preparing an offer for the former Everton man.

However, the Express states that United manager Jose Mourinho wants to keep hold Fellaini next season.

Fellaini joined the Red Devils from Everton for £27.5 million (BBC) in September 2013. The 29-year-old has one assist and four goals to his name after 47 appearances for United.
