West Ham have reached an agreement with Fenerbahce to sign Emmanuel Emenike on loan until the end of the season with a future buyout clause option.

So how will Emenike fit into the current Hammers side?

Adaptability

Emenike went from earning $50 per-month in South Africa to $250,000 per-month at Fenerbahçe and enjoyed a trip to Russia in-between. Former Karabükspor president Hikmet Ferudun Tankut said: Emenike was making $50 a month playing for Cape Town in South Africa. He told me that he saw Karabükspor as a stepping stone in his career, that he would make it to the top and that his goal was to play for Chelsea.” Emenike went from playing second tier football in Turkey to earning a big money move to Fenerbahçe and then to Spartak Moscow and then back to the Yellow Canaries. The powerful striker scored 30 times in 51 appearances for Karabükspor and 24 times in 51 games for Spartak. West Ham may not be Chelsea but they are still in London and doing better than the Blues this season.
