2. Premier League experience
Demba Ba is no stranger to Premier League football. The 29-year-old striker enjoyed spells at Newcastle United, West Ham and of course Chelsea. The Senegalese international bagged 14 goals in 51 appearances for the Blues with perhaps his most memorable strike coming as a result of Steven Gerrard’s slip in the 2-0 win against Liverpool in April 2014. Hammers fans also have fond memories of Ba for his seven goals in 13 games that kept the East London based side in top-flight football back in 2011.
