£30m Liverpool Ace Will Not Be Joining Champions League High Flyers After Manager Vetoes Move
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been closely linked with an Anfield exit over the winter transfer window.
The Reds are prepared to sell Sturridge but only if their £30million valuation is matched according to the Daily Mail.
Per the source, the England international has thrown in a transfer request as he wants to leave for more playing time.
Besiktas were among the sides that expressed an interest in the 28-year-old.
Turkish-Football reported that Sturridge was among the names on the shortlist as a potential replacement for Cenk Tosun who joined Everton last Friday.

Senol Gunes has however, vetoed a move for Sturridge.
The Besiktas boss wants the club to pursue other targets on the shortlist after being left unimpressed with the striker.
Gunes wants a forward who will be able to play Champions League football as the Black Eagles will take on Bayern Munich in the Last 16.
Sturridge would be cup-tied were he to join the reigning Super Lig champions as Liverpool have also made it to the Last 16 round.
The former Chelsea star is represented by the Octagon player management company.
Octagon’s Turkish agent Hasan Anıl Eken who represents Sturridge’s rights in Turkey revealed his client would be open to a Turkey move.
Eken was quoted by Fanatik as saying: “If the circumstances are right and the fans want him Sturridge would play in Turkey.”
The experienced forward has fallen behind in the Liverpool pecking order and has struggled for playing time.
