Fenerbahce will step up their efforts to sign Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko according to the latest reports from Turkey.
Turkish outlet Futbol Arena stated that Fenerbahce will use the income from Josef de Souza’s sale to Al Ahli.
The Yellow Canaries are being closely monitored by UEFA for financial fair play this season which means they needed to sell players before bringing in the likes of Sissoko.
Fenerbahce sold De Souza’s to Al Ahli for £10 million earlier this week.
Per the source, Damien Comolli will hold talks with Tottenham with the view of signing Sissoko on a season-long loan with an option to buy included.
However, it is unclear whether Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will green light Sissoko’s departure this summer.
The France international was included in Pochettino’s squad which defeated Fulham last weekend.
