Fenerbahce has been keen on signing a new central midfielder after offloading Guiliano over the summer.
Interestingly, Sissoko was left out of Mauricio Pochettino’s 18-man matchday squad on Monday night against Manchester United. Spurs went on to record a 3-0 win over the Red Devils.

Sissoko made the move to Tottenham back in 2016 for £30 million from Newcastle United. However, the France international failed to secure a place in Pochettino’s starting eleven and has largely found himself on the fringes of the Spurs squad.
The 29-year-old made a total of 33 Premier League appearances for Tottenham last season. The north London based club are back in action this weekend when they take on Watford.
