Benfica star Anderson Talisca has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League following reports in Portugal.
Talisca could however, end up joining Roma according to the latest reports emerging from Turkey.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes said Talisca will be joining a team that plays against Everton but ruled out Wolves after his sides final game of the season.
“Talisca was already gone at the winter break, I can’t tell you which club he joined but they could play against Cenk’s team,” Gunes said after the 5-1 victory over Sivasspor last week.
Portuguese publication meanwhile, A Jogo report that Manchester United are prepared to offer £35m (€40m).
A Bola meanwhile report that Talisca’s agent Carlos Leite is in England trying to complete a transfer for his client.
It turns out that Talisca may not be moving to England afterall.
The Brazilian could be on his way to Italy according to Turkish football newspaper Fanatik, however, who claim Talisca told his team-mates that he will join Roma.
“I have agreed terms with Roma. I spent two amazing seasons in Turkey but it is time for my next chapter,” Talisca reportedly said to his teammates.
“I think will continue in Italy.”
Talisca spent the past two seasons on loan at Besiktas, playing a key role in the Istanbul giants being crowned Super Lig champions last season.
The Brazilian scored 20 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions this season, including four goals in the Champions League.
