Emre Can starts today for Liverpool in their Premier League cash with Swansea at Anfield.

The Germany international has featured predominantly as a midfielder as opposed to being played a defender as he did under former manager Brendan Rodgers.

Liverpool go into today’s encounter without Lucas Leiva who picked up a suspension last week.

Swansea meanwhile are without former Liverpool player Shelvey due to a suspension.
