Mesut Ozil played the full 90 minutes during Arsenal’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Norwich City yesterday afternoon.
The 27-year-old scored his sides opening goal early on in the first half when he chipped the ball over Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy.
The Gunners looked set to record a comfortable victory however, the home side managed to level the score going into the break.
Arsene Wenger’s side were unable to to find the winning goal meaning they were unable to capitalise on Manchester United’s draw with Leicester City.
There was yet more disappointment as Alexis Sanchez picked up what looked to be a hamstring injury. Laurent Koscielny also came off injured to add to Arsenal’s injury woes.
Arsenal host Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium next weekend in the Premier League.
Following the game we took to social media to see how Ozil’s performance went down with fans.

Just saw that Mesut Ozil has the same amount of goals in his last 3 games in Europe as David Silva do in his Man City career ??
