Mesut Ozil has praised Arsenal on their 3-1 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old played a staring role in the Gunners win, providing an assist for the opening goal.
Ozil posted a picture of himself during the game along with the following caption, “Three incredibly important points in this time of the season!”
The Germany international received a rating of 8.5 from WhoScored after making five key passes and taking 122 touches on the ball during the game.
Ozil has been in great form for Arsenal in recent months, so good in fact that even players on rival teams have had to admit just how impressive he has been.
Tottenham star Cristien Erikson was quoted by the Metro as saying: “I used to watch him when I was at Ajax and he was at Real Madrid.
“It’s a joke how good he is.”
The North London based side have 30 points after 15 games and take on Olympiakos in the UEFA Champions League next week.
